Brisbane City Council is delivering the turn-up-and-go Brisbane Metro — a new era of connected transport. Brisbane Metro will link the city to the suburbs and make it easier to connect with the people and places you love.

The Project

With two Metro routes operating along dedicated busways from Eight Mile Plains to Roma Street, and Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital to University of Queensland, travel in Brisbane will soon be so much easier.

The Comms Team has worked alongside Brisbane City Council since 2016 on this city-shaping project. We are proud to be a part of the integrated project team delivering key communication and engagement services.

Working closely with Council’s team, we have planned and delivered multiple rounds of city-wide communication and engagement activities during each phase of the project. These phases have taken the project from pre-feasibility, planning and procurement through to early works and now delivery.

We have helped stage more than 80 community and stakeholder events across the city, including at markets, festivals, forums, libraries and high-traffic areas to create awareness about the project, support Council’s broader marketing activities and to encourage community interest and participation.
