The Project
The Comms Team designed and delivered a two-phased community consultation and stakeholder engagement program, supported by our in-house creative team, who designed a range of consultation materials and digital assets.
The first phase sought ideas and input into the draft master plan, and included pop-up events across the region, a community ideas fiesta, and an industry roundtable. During the second phase, the draft master plan was released online, and events were held across the precinct for the community to provide feedback. We also managed the launch of the consultation website, collated the feedback and supported the public release of the final master plan.
The primary goal was to deliver an interactive and inclusive community and stakeholder engagement program to inform development of the master plan at key project milestones, generate excitement and build social license around the project.
This fun, visual and interactive engagement program, which blended traditional and digital tools, generated interest and encouraged participation from diverse audiences. All activities provided valuable qualitative and quantitative data to determine community priorities and values.
